The original company Lambert Metals formed in 1970 as a subsidiary of
a large UK metals processing group; initially traded secondary
Aluminium, non-ferrous scraps and residues and Minor Metals. As
Lambert Metals developed it became an autonomous profit centre and in
the early 1980's senior management took it into private ownership.
After a take-over the company concentrated its activities on Minor
Metals and Ferro-Alloys and during the 1980's and 90's it became known
as one of the world's leading traders of Minor Metals particularly
Cobalt, Ferro-Alloys and Molybdenum. In recent years however, the
company has reduced its activities to now concentrate solely on its
Minor Metals activities for which it is rightly renowned worldwide.
Today Lambert Metals remains a private independent company headquartered in London, UK and continues to be owned by the
management.
